Andrii O. Drobyshevskyi (Lysyi)

41-year-old soldier Andrii Drobyshevskyi (call sign Lysyi) died on September 5, 2023, in the Kyiv military hospital. On August 25, he sustained severe injuries during mortar and artillery shelling while carrying out a combat mission in the Kreminna area of Luhansk region. Andrii was a resident of Chervonohrad, Lviv region. He had a secondary education. Since 2011, he worked at the Velykomostivska mine of the State Enterprise "Lvivvuhillia", holding the position of a preparatory work section miner No. 2. He was married and devoted his free time to his family. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, in February 2022, the man was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 42nd separate mechanized brigade. "My husband was a kind, honest and courageous person. A beloved husband and caring father, a reliable support and pillar of the family," said Viktoriia Drobyshevska. The defender was buried in Chervonohrad. At home, Andrii was awaited by his mother, wife and son.
