Biography
Andriy Oleksandrovych Ivashko was born on June 29, 1980, in the city of Krolevets, Sumy Oblast. He served in a separate radar company of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, known as "Hlukhiv-2." With the onset of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops on February 24, 2022, while on combat duty, Andriy Ivashko provided information on enemy actions, risking his own life. He was killed during a missile strike on February 24, 2022, near the city of Hlukhiv in the Shostka district of Sumy Oblast. For his personal courage and heroism displayed in the defense of Ukraine's state sovereignty and territorial integrity, and for his loyalty to the military oath, Andriy Oleksandrovych Ivashko was posthumously awarded the title of "Hero of Ukraine" with the order "Golden Star."Burial place
