Andrii O. Sidorov (Apostol)

23-year-old soldier Andrii Sidorov (call sign Apostol) was killed on December 1, 2022 near the village of Klishchiyivka in the Donetsk region. While carrying out another combat mission, the warrior came under enemy mortar fire, as a result of which he received fatal injuries. Andrii was born in the village of Doslidne, Chernihiv region. He stuwas killed at the local school. In 2017, he entered the Bobrovytsia College of Economics and Management named after Oleksandra Mainova. Two years later, he went to serve in the military. In May 2022, Andrii did not remain on the sidelines and joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was assigned to military unit A4219. He held the position of senior shooter. "Andriusha is a very close person to me, the best friend. He was the most sincere, kind, and smart. He always cared about everyone, just not about himself. He loved Ukraine so much that he gave his life for it. I want to scream, say every minute: 'How I miss you!'. Thank you for being in my life. Forever in my heart and my memory," wrote the deceased's friend Olena. The defender was buried in his native village. Andrii is survived by his parents, sister, brother, nephew, and friends.
