- Lieutenant Andriy Svystula was killed on November 4, 2022 near Mayorsk in the Donetsk region during an enemy mortar attack. He was 20 days short of his 47th birthday. Andriy was from the city of Petrovske in the Luhansk region. He graduated from the National Aerospace University named after Mykola Zhukovsky "Kharkiv Aviation Institute". He lived in Dnipro. He worked as the head of a sector at the Yuzhnoye Design Bureau named after Mikhail Yangel. In the first weeks of the full-scale Russian invasion, Andriy joined the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine, where he commanded a platoon. He took part in battles for Rubizhne and Komyshuvakha in Luhansk region, Sloviansk in Donetsk region, Izium in Kharkiv region, and others. "A wonderful friend, a talented person with a good sense of humor, a patriot of his city and country. A real, honest and fair man, the father of two children. He incredibly loved his daughters and wife!" - Andriy's comrades-in-arms shared. "He was not a military man, but he was a warrior, not a loud politician, but a conscious citizen, not a desperate optimist, but an acting realist. We will always remember Andriy, who fought for our independent Ukraine, who gave his life in this struggle. We are losing the best for the sake of hands without shackles," wrote the warrior's daughter Anastasia. The officer was buried at the Krasnopilskyi cemetery in Dnipro.
