Andrii P. Baiurko (Biba)

37-year-old soldier Andrii Baiurko (call sign Biba) died on November 22, 2023 near the village of Novoprokopivka in the Zaporizhzhia region. During the performance of a combat mission, he received fatal injuries as a result of enemy shelling. Andrii was from the village of Napadivka in the Vinnytsia region. He studied at the Napadivka secondary school until the 9th grade, then continued his studies at the Lypovets school. Later, he graduated from the Kyiv College of Construction, Architecture and Design. He worked as a construction worker and was a good specialist. He loved his work and the people around him very much. During the full-scale war, the man became a fighter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 71st separate mountain assault brigade of the airborne troops. "I lived with my husband for 16 happy years. Andrii is the best man and father in the world for his children. He was always a reliable support for us. Responsible, kind, always smiling. There are no more such people as my Andrii. I am proud of my husband, he is a Hero for us and will always be the best. We will definitely be together again, always in my heart, in my soul, I love him endlessly, I love him through the worlds," said the wife of the fallen warrior. Andrii was buried in his native village of Napadivka. The warrior left behind his wife Tetiana, son Artem, daughter Polina, brothers, sisters and friends. The defender was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
