- 40-year-old soldier Andrii Skrypnyk (call sign Veselyi) was killed on January 8, 2023, near the city of Krasnohorivka in the Donetsk region. While performing his duties, he sustained fatal injuries during an enemy tank shelling. Andrii was a native of the village of Kukobivka in the Poltava region. He lived in the village of Pokrovske in the Poltava region. He graduated from the Reshetylivka Professional Agrarian Lyceum named after I. H. Borovenskyi and obtained the profession of a children's food cook. He worked at the elevator in the village where he lived. He was interested in technology and helped everyone who approached him. On February 27, 2022, the man volunteered to defend the Motherland. He served in the 13th separate rifle battalion (military unit A7097) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of a rifleman-assistant grenadier. He fought in the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions. "Andrii was a good son, we miss his care and cheerful disposition," said the mother of the deceased, Halyna Fedorivna. "A loving father and husband, the best godfather, a faithful friend and comrade. Andrii was one of those who, without waiting for a summons, decided to defend his native land," wrote Oksana Diadiunova, the head of the Reshetylivka community. The warrior was buried in the village of Pokrovske in the Poltava region. Andrii is survived by his parents, brothers, sister, and five sons.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
