Andrii R. Koval

Soldier Andrii Koval was killed on December 3, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Bilohirivka in the Luhansk region. The defender was 34 years old. Andrii was born in the village of Pleshevychi, Lviv region. He graduated from the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management with a degree in "Jurisprudence". He lived in Lviv. He worked in the construction industry. He was passionate about cooking. He loved fishing and football. He adored spending time with his family. During the full-scale war, Andrii joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of senior rifleman in the 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade. "My beloved husband was an incredible person, a gentle, the best and loving father. Andrii had a clear position and was always ready to help others. He bravely accepted life's challenges and was always courageous. He was proud to be Ukrainian," said the deceased's wife, Marta. The paratrooper was buried in the Marsovoye Field of the Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv. At home, Andrii was awaited by his mother, wife, and daughter.
