Andrii R. Yanush

Andriy Ruslanovych Yanush was born on March 23, 1999, in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk. He graduated from Ivano-Frankivsk Secondary School No. 25 and Ivano-Frankivsk Professional Lyceum of Transport and Construction. After completing his compulsory military service, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine and was assigned to the area of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO). Later, he received a deployment order and arrived at a military unit for further service. In 2022, with the onset of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was dispatched to the combat zone. He was killed on February 25, 2022, as a result of an airstrike by Russian occupiers during the defense of the city of Mykolaiv. He was buried on March 4, 2022, in the Alley of Glory in the village of Chukalivka, Ivano-Frankivsk region.
