- Born on July 10, 1989, in the city of Kupiansk, Kharkiv region. In 2004, he graduated from the 9th grade of secondary school No. 121 in Kharkiv, in 2006 - from secondary boarding school No. 4 in Kharkiv, and in 2007 - from the Pervomaisky Professional Lyceum, obtaining the profession of "Electric Gas Welder." From 2007 to 2008, he served in the 169th Training Guards Zvenyhorodskyi Red Banner and Suvorov Center of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0665, the urban-type settlement of Desna, Kozelets district, Chernihiv region). Since 2008, he served under contract in the 1st Separate Guards Tank Novgorod Red Banner, Kutuzov, Bohdan Khmelnytsky, Alexander Nevsky, and Red Star Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1815, the urban-type settlement of Honcharivske, Chernihiv district, Chernihiv region). He participated in military parades in Kyiv, which took place on August 24, 2009, in honor of the 18th anniversary of Ukraine's Independence and on May 9, 2010, in honor of the 65th anniversary of Victory in World War II. Since 2012, he studied in the correspondence department of the Faculty of Geoinformation and Space Systems at the Zhytomyr Military Institute named after S.P. Korolev of the National Aviation University in the field of "Radio Engineering." From June 18, 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On August 3, 2014, the crew of the T-64BM "Bulat" tank No. 681 (tank commander - Captain Plokhoy, gunner - Sergeant Mansurov, driver-mechanic - Senior Soldier Nahornyi) as part of the assault tank platoon participated in the offensive operation of the Ukrainian military against the positions of Russian-terrorist groups in the city of Luhansk. During the mission, Captain Plokhoy's tank, which was moving at the head of the column, was blown up by a mine in the Krasnyi Yar microdistrict of the October district of Luhansk. As a result of the explosion, Sergeant Mansurov and Senior Soldier Nahornyi died on the spot, and Captain Plokhoy died on the way to the hospital. On August 6, 2014, he was buried in the cemetery of the urban-type settlement of Honcharivske, Chernihiv district.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
