Andrii S. Sivets

53-year-old serviceman Andrii Sivets was killed on November 12, 2022 in a battle near the village of Ternii in the Donetsk region. After a three-hour battle, the enemy carried out an artillery barrage on the positions of the Ukrainian defenders, during which the soldier was killed. Andrii lived in Svatove, Luhansk region. He was a talented artist and a creative person, a member of the band "Svatovski Kozaky". Friends and acquaintances describe the man as sincere, frank, smiling and positive. He always came to help, supported and lifted the mood. During the full-scale invasion, Andrii fought in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, defending his native lands from the occupiers. Andrii was buried at the Krasnopilskyi cemetery in Dnipro. He is survived by his parents, sister, brothers, wife and two children.
