- Reconnaissance operator Andriy Tsvik (call sign Hunter) died on November 3, 2023 in battle with an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group near the village of Porozok in the Sumy region. The defender was 42 years old. Andriy was born in the city of Okhtyrka, Sumy region. He received higher education at the Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University. He worked at the Poltava Drilling Company, holding the position of head of the vehicle fleet, and later was a logistics manager at PJSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya. He was passionate about hunting, loved traveling and his family, and dedicated every free moment to his family and friends. During the full-scale war, he held the position of reconnaissance operator of the 3rd reconnaissance platoon of the 117th separate territorial defense brigade. For his service, he was awarded the badge "Veteran of War - Participant in Combat Operations", the medal "For Faithful Service" of the II degree, as well as the Order of Courage of the III degree. "My husband is a person with a capital letter. Others will take an example from him. And the first on this list is me. He always helped people, knew how to support and advise when it was needed. That's why he is still very much loved and respected. He could solve any issues: both in civilian life and in service. My husband has loved hunting since childhood, so we didn't even consider any other call sign than Hunter. He has a lot of friends who supported all the gatherings and helped him in service," wrote his wife Iryna. The defender was buried on the Alley of Glory in Okhtyrka. Andriy is survived by his parents, wife, son and daughter.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
