- Serviceman Andrii Yudin (call sign Sky) was killed on May 2, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near Vuhledar in the Donetsk region. He would have turned 24 years old on May 31. Andrii was born in the village of Krasivtsi, Zhytomyr region. He lived in the village of Knyazhychi near Kyiv. He studied at the Kyiv Military Lyceum named after Ivan Bohun. In 2019, he was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and after half a year, he signed a contract and was sent to carry out combat missions in the area of the Joint Forces Operation. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, as part of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians, Andrii defended the Kyiv region. He held the position of anti-aircraft gunner in the anti-aircraft missile platoon. Later, he went to defend the eastern direction of the front. "He was a ray of sunshine that always shone. Sensitive and kind, our brave Hero, who never said it was difficult for him, but always said it was his duty and everything would be fine..." said the sister of the fallen Natalia Omelchenko. The young warrior was buried in the "Sukhyi Yar" cemetery in the city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region. Andrii left behind his parents, sister, and wife.
