Biography
Andriy Tarasovych Shvets was born on January 1, 1994, in the city of Ovruch, Zhytomyr region. After completing incomplete general secondary education at Ovruch Secondary School No. 1, Andriy enrolled in Ovruch Vocational Lyceum No. 10. After graduating from the lyceum, he continued his studies at Kharkiv Industrial-Pedagogical College and obtained the profession of a locksmith for the repair of agricultural machinery and equipment. He worked as an electrician repairing overhead power lines for the Korosten power supply distance of the "South-Western Railway." From 2016 to 2017, he served in the National Guard of Ukraine in Vyshhorod, Kyiv region. Since August 2019, he served under a contract. From 2020 to 2022, he participated in repelling and deterring armed aggression from the Russian Federation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. On March 2, 2022, while performing a combat mission near the city of Sievierodonetsk in Luhansk region, he sustained a gunshot wound that was incompatible with life. On March 10, 2022, he was buried in the cemetery in the village of Sholomky, Korosten district, Zhytomyr region.Burial place
