Andrii V. Andriichuk

Sergeant Andriy Andriychuk (call sign Beekeeper) was killed on July 21, 2024, during assault operations in the area of the village of Ternivka in the Donetsk region. He would have turned 56 years old on August 1. Andriy was born in the village of Vyshnyaky, Kyiv region. He lived in Borodianka. From a young age, he was interested in beekeeping and studied it in college. He served his mandatory military service. After that, he worked in the police until his retirement. In his free time, he loved to go fishing, take care of trees, build a house for his children, and enjoy nature with his family. In 2022, during the full-scale invasion, the man voluntarily joined the defense forces. He served in the grenade launcher platoon of the 67th Separate Mechanized Brigade. "Dad devoted his whole life to service. With the start of the full-scale invasion in April 2022, he was mobilized and went to defend us, our country. He was always kind and honest, and had so many plans that will never be realized. I will always remember him as a father who would do anything for his family, a loving dad, and a good man," said the daughter of the deceased. Andriy was buried in his native village. He is survived by his wife Oksana, son Demyan, and daughter Tetyana.
