Andrii V. Andriushchenko

Main Sergeant Andriy Andryushchenko was killed on March 11, 2023 near the village of Dibrova in the Luhansk region. While on combat duty, he received fatal injuries as a result of enemy mortar shelling. The warrior was 49 years old. Andriy was born and lived in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region. After completing his education, he worked in the police. He started a family, always cared for the comfort and coziness of his loved ones, which is why he worked a lot. He tried to devote his free time to his family. After retiring, he got a job at the Metinvest plant. During the full-scale war, Andriy defended his Homeland in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 92nd separate mechanized brigade named after the Koshovy Otaman Ivan Sirko. "I am the daughter of the best father in the world! Dad was cheerful, funny and good-natured. He was the pillar and savior for everyone. He had many friends. The grandchildren adore their grandfather and miss him very much. The brave and courageous warrior Andriy went to defend his Ukraine! And he was killed for it," said Maria Zhura. The defender was buried at the Central Cemetery in his hometown. At home, Andriy was awaited by his mother, brother, wife, daughter, son, and two grandchildren.
