- Lieutenant Andrii Didyk was killed on December 11, 2022 near Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. The officer did not live two days until his 35th birthday. Andrii was born and lived in the village of Bilousivka, Chernivtsi region. In 2005-2009, he stuwas killed at the Bukovyna State Financial Academy, majoring in Finance. In 2008, he completed his studies at the Department of Military Training of Reserve Officers of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University and received the rank of junior lieutenant of the reserve. The man also had incomplete legal education. He was engaged in a family business - together with his parents, he grew apples, pears, plums, and cherries. In his free time, he loved to play football. During the full-scale war, the man defended Ukraine in the ranks of the 60th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He commanded a platoon. "He loved his children the most and lived for them. They are his copies. It's a pity that it all happened this way... A lot can be written about him, because he was truly intelligent, good and sensitive, always helping everyone, never refusing anyone anything. He was very worried about his guys (soldiers), probably more than about himself," said the defender's wife Iryna. "Eternal memory! I still don't believe that you are no longer there. We all love you very much, you will forever remain in our hearts. You are our hero forever. Sacrificing our lives, you sacrificed your own. You will forever remain my best and kindest godfather. I love, I remember. Rest in peace, may the earth be soft for you. Condolences to the parents and wife with the children, hold on," wrote the godchild of the defender Iryna Khryptievska. "Unspeakable pain in the heart, because a sincere, kind, friendly neighbor of ours, our Andriushka, left this life. There are no words to express condolences to the parents, wife, children... May God give you the strength to withstand this grief and live with it further... Rest in peace, our Hero, our unforgettable neighbor... Deep bow and the Kingdom of Heaven," wrote the neighbor of the deceased Nadiia Malenkа. The officer was buried in his native village of Bilousivka. Andrii is survived by his parents, wife Iryna, daughter Ivanna and son Platon. He was posthumously awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of Sokyriany".Memory Platform 'Memorial'
