Andrii V. Fedoruk

Born on September 20, 1979, in the urban-type settlement of Pershotravneve, Ovruch district, Zhytomyr region. Graduated from the general education school of the urban-type settlement of Pershotravneve. Served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Worked as a repairman for mining and crushing installations at the Private Joint Stock Company "Tovkachivsky Mining and Processing Plant" in the urban-type settlement of Pershotravneve. Engaged in public activities. Was the head of the Pershotravneve primary organization of the "UDAR" party. In the winter of 2013-2014, he was at Maidan Nezalezhnosti in Kyiv, where he was an active participant in the Revolution of Dignity. On August 3, 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Served as a driver in the 30th Separate Guards Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0409, city of Novograd-Volynskyi, Zhytomyr region). From the summer to autumn of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. In November 2014, during combat operations in the Luhansk region, soldier Fedoruk sustained a severe head injury. On November 20, 2014, the serviceman was transported by helicopter from the city of Svatove in the Luhansk region to the Kharkiv military hospital. Doctors fought for Andriy Fedoruk's life, but their efforts were in vain. On November 25, 2014, the serviceman died as a result of brain swelling. On November 29, 2014, he was buried in the cemetery of the urban-type settlement of Pershotravneve, Ovruch district, Zhytomyr region.
