- Andriy Valeriyovych Haysan was born on September 26, 1990, in the city of Horoidenka, Ivano-Frankivsk region. In 2007, he graduated from Horoidenka General Education School I–III degrees No. 1. Being a true patriot of Ukraine, Sergeant Andriy Haysan took up the defense of his homeland. In March 2022, he was called up for military service to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine as part of mobilization. He performed combat missions in the area of the 11th Border Detachment in the Donetsk region. During his service, Sergeant Andriy Haysan proved himself to be a professional serviceman, loyal to the Ukrainian people and his military oath. Andriy adhered to the traditions of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. He approached his duties responsibly and demonstrated a high level of professionalism. He skillfully applied his knowledge in practical activities. He was demanding in his work and always brought tasks to logical completion. He displayed mastery during the execution of complex tasks. He easily resolved issues that required organizational and analytical skills. He knew the requirements of the statutes and other regulatory documents and utilized them in his daily service. From July 2022 to January 2023, he carried out assignments in the areas of border detachments within the Vinnytsia and Kyiv regions. Since January 10, 2023, Sergeant Andriy Valeriyovych Haysan, as part of the border service unit (type C) of the 11th Border Detachment, heroically defended the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. On February 11, 2023, around 16:00, in the area of Bakhmut, the enemy launched a mortar attack on the observation post "Betta-14," as a result of which Sergeant Andriy Haysan received multiple injuries incompatible with life. For personal bravery and selfless actions demonstrated in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and for his loyalty to the military oath, Sergeant Andriy Valeriyovych Haysan was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" III degree.Memory Book of the MIA System
