Andrii V. Khoryk

Khorik Andriy Vasylovych was born on May 27, 1998, in the village of Holoskov, Letychiv district, Khmilnytskyi region. He was the eldest child in a large family of 8 children. In 2019, he consciously went on a contract service to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He went through two rotations in the ATO and the JFO in eastern Ukraine. He served in the 80th separate airborne assault brigade in Lviv. He honed his skills at the training grounds of Lviv region, Ivano-Frankivsk region, and Rivne. At the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, he was in southern Ukraine. He was killed in early March in battles with Russian invaders. Andriy Khorik was buried on March 29, 2022, with military honors at the local cemetery in his native village.
