Andrii V. Kyrychenko (Kyryk)

Senior soldier Andrii Kyrichenko was killed on September 30, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission in the area of the village of Yampolivka in the Donetsk region. Andrii was born in the village of Okhoche, Kharkiv region. He received secondary education. He lived in the village of Bulakhivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region. In civilian life, he worked as a rigger. When the Russian-Ukrainian war began, he fought in the Donbas. He was awarded the President of Ukraine's Distinction "For Participation in the Anti-Terrorist Operation". During the full-scale war, the man defended Ukraine in the ranks of the 25th separate airborne Sich brigade. He was a mechanic-driver. "Andrii is a man with a capital letter. Always fair, kind, sensitive. A loving husband and father. A professional in his field, he took his duties very seriously, both in service and in civilian life. A good friend, everyone loved and respected him, because he always found a common language with everyone," said the defender's wife Natalia. The serviceman was buried in the village of Bulakhivka, Dnipropetrovsk region. Andrii is survived by his wife, son, and two daughters.
