Andrii V. Maslov

Soldier Andrii Maslov (call sign Statham) died on January 4, 2023, in the Kreminna direction. During the enemy shelling, he shielded his comrades. The warrior was 35 years old. Andrii was born in Marhanets, Dnipropetrovsk region. He studied at local schools No. 1 and No. 5. In 2006, he graduated from Marhanets Vocational Lyceum No. 68. He was then conscripted into the military service. After returning from the army in 2007, he settled in Dnipro. From 2012, he worked as a plumber-mechanic at LLC "CAPITAL STROY GROUP". From a young age, he was passionate about motorcycles. In his free time, he loved high-speed driving. The man was called up to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in April 2022. He served in the 66th Separate Mechanized Brigade. He held the position of a crew member of a self-propelled artillery platoon. "Andrii was a true courageous patriot who gave his life for the future of independent Ukraine! He became a Hero!" - said his sister Tetiana Bilozub. The hero was buried in the Alley of Glory cemetery in Dnipro. The defender left behind his father, wife, son, and other relatives and friends. Andrii Maslov was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree and the badge of the 66th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces.
