Andrii V. Mishtel (Nimets)

27-year-old soldier Andrii Mishtiel (call sign Nimetс) was killed on March 18, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission in the Kreminna area of Luhansk region. The life of the warrior was cut short by a bullet from an enemy sniper. Andrii was born in the village of Voskresensky in Mykolaiv region. He obtained the profession of a car mechanic at a vocational school. He worked as a mechanic at the "Zoria" enterprise. He was married and had many plans for the future, which were not destined to come true. He lived in the Chumaky community in Dnipropetrovsk region. On February 8, 2023, Andrii joined the airborne assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 95th separate airborne assault brigade. He took the position of a sniper-shooter and went to the front line. The following month, he was killed. "We had plans for great travels and a happy future... But for some reason, fate responded to us so cruelly and unfairly... He served on the front line in his young years! Defending and protecting the right to our safe life, he gave his own. My husband was brave, kind, courageous, unbroken, responsible and steadfast. The life of a wonderful person is no more... There is no beloved and loving husband, a caring and caring son, a wonderful and strong brother," wrote the wife of the fallen Viktoriia. The paratrooper was buried in the village of Chumaky, Dnipropetrovsk region. At home, Andrii was awaited by his mother, wife and brother.
