Andrii V. Myroshnyk

Senior Lieutenant Andrii Myroshnyk was killed on April 13, 2022, while performing a combat mission at the Azovstal plant in Mariupol, Donetsk region. The warrior was 35 years old. Andrii was born in the village of Kamiane, Zaporizhzhia region. He graduated from the Zaporizhzhia Military Lyceum "Zakhysnyk". He entered the National University "Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic". He obtained an education in the specialty "Information Protection in Computer Systems". He worked at the enterprise "Dniprospetsstal". He was an operator of metal-working machines in the rolling mill. In 2016, Andrii went on military service under a contract. He participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation. In 2022, he served in the 15th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine. He was the deputy commander of the 1st self-propelled artillery battery for personnel work of the self-propelled artillery division. "Andrii was sensitive, friendly, smiling, the soul of the company, a loving son," his mother Alla said. The warrior was buried in his native village of Kamiane, Zaporizhzhia region. At home, Andrii was awaited by his mother, civil wife, friends and relatives. The defender was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
