Andrii V. Nikonchuk

Andriy Valeriyovych Nikonchuk was born on September 27, 1992, in the city of Volodymyr-Volynskyi, Volyn region. From the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he defended the Kyiv Hydroelectric Power Station from attacks by Russian aviation and missile strikes as part of an anti-aircraft missile unit. He died on February 24, 2022, when one of the cruise missiles of the armed forces of the Russian Federation, launched from the territory of the Republic of Belarus, exploded at the position of the anti-aircraft gunners. He is survived by his grandmother and brother. He was buried on March 7, 2022, at the Fedorivske Cemetery in the city of Volodymyr, Volyn region.
