Andrii V. Nuzhnyi

Soldier Andriy Nuzhny died on September 23, 2023 in a battle against a Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group in the village of Pozhnya, Sumy region. Andriy was 39 years old. He was born in the city of Romny in the Sumy region. He received education as a carpenter-carpenter. Recently, he was not officially employed, but was exploring the area for historical artifacts. Since 2014, he has been defending Ukraine. He participated in the war in the East. During the full-scale invasion, he served in the 117th separate brigade of the territorial defense. He held the position of a shooter. "I don't know a more sincere person! A wonderful father, the best brother, a wonderful son! Among friends, he enjoyed authority, as he was always ready to come to the rescue. Since 2014, he has been in touch with his brothers-in-arms, with whom in 2022 they also stood up to defend their native land. He had plans for life, but the war changed everything..." - said his sister Tetyana Kundenko. The defender was buried in his hometown. Andriy is survived by his wife, two daughters, father and sister.
