Biography
Andriy Volodymyrovich Prypyshnyi was born on October 21, 1997, in the village of Zraiky, Kyiv region. After finishing school, he entered a medical college. While a student at the industrial and pedagogical technical school, he ended up at the Atek plant, where the Azov regiment was based, and soon underwent selection for the regiment. He became a contract soldier, holding the position of a medic in the 2nd platoon of the 2nd operational company of the 2nd operational battalion of the Special Operations Regiment "Azov". On March 5, 2022, he received a non-penetrating chest injury in one of the battles, but continued to defend his homeland. He was killed on April 15, 2022, during a breakthrough to Azovstal. The BMP in which Andriy Prypyshnyi and his comrades-in-arms were moving across the bridge was hit by a shell, and the vehicle fell into the water. On August 29, 2022, Andriy was bid farewell in Kyiv. For his personal courage, dedication, and loyalty to the military oath, soldier Andriy Volodymyrovich Prypyshnyi was awarded the medal "For Military Service to Ukraine".Burial place
