Andrii V. Reshetilov

Andriy Vadymovych Reshetilov was born in 1995 in the city of Kovel, Volyn region. After graduating from general education school and a military educational institution, he served in the military unit A2192. With the onset of the war in Eastern Ukraine in 2014, he repeatedly served in the Donbas as part of the ATO and JFO forces. When the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine began, the senior lieutenant was at the location of his military unit. Andriy Reshetilov was killed on February 28, 2022, in the area of the village of Horodok in the Zhytomyr region. The body of the deceased was brought to his hometown of Kovel on the evening of March 2 and was placed in the Holy Resurrection Cathedral. Andriy Reshetilov was buried on March 3 after the funeral service in the cathedral and a procession to the city council.
