Andrii V. Rolskyi

Soldier Andrii Rolskyi was killed on July 14, 2023, in battle in the area of the village of Klishchiyivka in the Donetsk region. He received fatal shrapnel wounds to the neck and head during enemy shelling. The defender was 21 years old. Andrii was born in the village of Krasnoluka, Ternopil region. He lived in the village of Kretivtsi since the age of 2. He graduated from the Ternopil Higher Vocational School of Technology and Design, obtaining the profession of a mason-plasterer. He worked in Ternopil at the company "SE Bordnetze-Ukraine". During the full-scale war, the man without delay took up the defense of the Motherland, as he aspired to live in a peaceful and free country. He fought in the ranks of the 35th separate rifle battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a machine gunner. "Andrii was a very kind, friendly and calm person. He never refused to help, he loved his loved ones very much," said the sister of the deceased, Viktoriia Tysyachna. The young soldier was buried in the village of Kretivtsi in the Ternopil region. Andrii is survived by his parents, brother, other relatives, friends and comrades-in-arms.
