Andrii V. Semkiv (Zum)

Serviceman Andriy Semkiv (call sign Sem) was killed on July 11, 2023 while performing a combat mission in the Kharkiv region. The warrior was forever 25 years old. Andriy was from the village of Ostriv, Lviv region. He lived in the city of Chervonograd. He received a secondary education. In civilian life, he was engaged in insulating building facades. He skillfully played football with his friends and participated in regional championships. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the man volunteered for the war. He served in the 103rd separate brigade of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a sniper in the 63rd battalion. "This is a great loss for everyone who knew Andriy. He was the most sincere person who always came to help and was there when needed. Rest in peace, friend! Now look at us from heaven!" wrote the deceased's friend Pavlo. The defender was buried in his native village. Andriy left behind a daughter Sofiya, a loving family, friends and comrades-in-arms.
