Andrii V. Tishko

Senior soldier Andrii Tishko was killed in action on July 23, 2022, while performing a combat mission near the village of Berestove in Donetsk region. He was 20 years old. Andrii was born and lived in the city of Kostopil, Rivne region. He graduated from Kostopil State College of Construction and Technology. He worked at the Kostopil plywood factory. During the full-scale war, the man defended Ukraine in the ranks of the 14th separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Roman the Great. "He was known as a kind, caring, hardworking man and loving father. Andrii had many plans for the future. He loved life very much, could always come to the rescue," said his wife Olga. "Strong in character, honest, principled and responsible - that's how his friends and colleagues remember him. Reliable, kind and open, always ready to help. We are losing the best... The team sincerely condoles with the relatives and wife of the deceased. The hero will forever remain in our memory!" wrote his colleagues. The defender was buried in his hometown. Andrii left behind a wife and a son born in 2022.
