Andrii V. Yudytskyi

Soldier Andriy Yudytskyi was killed on May 20, 2023, in battle with the occupiers near the town of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region. The defender was 38 years old. Andriy was born and lived in the village of Liskonogy, Chernihiv region. He received a secondary education, then served in the military. In 2008, he obtained the profession of a welder at the Kyiv Professional Energy Lyceum. He worked as a tractor driver. During the full-scale war, the man fought for his native country in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 4th separate tank brigade named after Hetman Ivan Vyhovsky. "Eternal memory to the hero, the sincerest condolences to the relatives, Andriy was a wonderful guy and a good person," wrote his acquaintance Olha Kravchenko. "Villagers remember Andriy as a hardworking, fair, open, and bright man who always came to help his fellow villagers," added the Chernihiv RTCK. "A painful, sad news that cannot be comprehended by the mind or heart has swept through our community... We express our deepest condolences to the family of our Hero, to all relatives and friends... May the Lord help to overcome the pain of irreparable loss... Heroes do not die... They leave the battlefield on earth and as angels in the heavenly army protect their native land and their people. Eternal, bright memory and honor to the fallen Hero," said the Novhorod-Siverskyi community. Andriy was buried in his native village. He left behind relatives and friends.
