      • Born on November 11, 1985, in the city of Uzhhorod, Zakarpattia region. In 2003, he graduated from secondary school No. 19 in Uzhhorod. He served in the 15th Separate Guards Mountain Infantry Sevastopol Battalion of the 128th Separate Guards Mountain Infantry Turkestan-Zakarpattia Twice Red Banner Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1778, Uzhhorod). He participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On February 8, 2015, soldier Palai was killed during a battle with Russian-terrorist groups near the village of Ridkodub in the Shakhtarsk district of Donetsk region. On February 18, 2015, he was buried on the Hill of Glory at the "Kalvaria" cemetery in Uzhhorod.
