Andrii Ye. Kozachenko (Sheryf)

Andrii Yevhenovych Kozachenko was born in 1985. He graduated from Chernihiv National University of Technology. He participated in KVK festivals. He was also a passionate supporter of the Chernihiv football club "Desna", traveling to games throughout Ukraine. The Chernihiv ultras called him by the nickname "Sheriff". He was present at the Kyiv Maidan during the Revolution of Dignity and took part in clashes with law enforcement. In recent years, he worked as a courier. Prior to that, he had a small business together with his father - his own cafe. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 27, he joined the territorial defense forces. On February 28, during the shelling of the ZAZ district, he received a fatal shrapnel wound. He was taken to the regional hospital, where doctors tried to operate on him, but they were unable to save him. Andrii Kozachenko died on March 1, 2022. He was buried in the Yalivshchyna cemetery in Chernihiv after his parents, who had been evacuated to Kyiv until May 2022, returned.
