- Born on November 28, 1975, in the village of Naluzhzhya, Terbovlia district, Ternopil region. Graduated from the general education school (now an educational and training complex) in the village of Varvaryntsi, Terbovlia district. On July 24, 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He underwent three weeks of training at a military training ground in the city of Vynogradiv, Zakarpattia region. He served in the 128th Separate Mountain Infantry Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1778 (field post V4673), city of Mukacheve, Zakarpattia region). Since the summer of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 9, 2015, during shelling near the urban-type settlement of Stanytsia Luhanska in Luhansk region, Sergeant Mazur received severe shrapnel wounds to the abdomen from a shell. In a local hospital, fragments were removed, but an infection entered his body, leading to sepsis. The severely wounded serviceman was transported to the Military Medical Clinical Center of the Northern Region (city of Kharkiv), where he underwent several surgeries. For three weeks, doctors fought for Andrii Mazur's life, but their efforts were in vain. He died on August 3, 2015. On August 5, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Naluzhzhya, Terbovlia district, Ternopil region.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
