Biography
Zhovanyk Andrii Yevhenovych was born on September 8, 1975 in Kyiv. In 1997, he graduated from the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture and the military department at the university. He built the "Metrograd" in the center of Kyiv. For 15 years, he worked as the head of the repair and construction site at the National University of Food Technologies, and as the head of the construction site of the "Rosinka" plant. Under the leadership of Andrii Zhovanyk, finishing work was carried out at the Puppet Theater on the slopes of the Dnipro River. He worked as a technical supervision engineer for construction at "BRSM-Nafta" and "Socar Ukraine", and had the highest qualification of a technical supervision engineer. In the early 1990s, he participated in wars in Transnistria and Georgia. Since the beginning of the ATO in eastern Ukraine, he repeatedly participated in battles in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. From the first day of the full-scale invasion of Russia, he fought as part of the ODCh "Carpathian Sich". He was a participant in the battles for Kyiv, Kyiv region (the cities of Brovary, Irpin, Bucha, the Chornobyl exclusion zone), Chernihiv region, Kharkiv region, and Donetsk region. He was one of the leaders of the defense of the city of Soledar in the Donetsk region. He was killed on August 2, 2022 in direct small arms combat. He was buried on the Central Alley of Glory of the Baikove Cemetery in Kyiv.Burial place
