Andrii Yu. Panin

Junior Sergeant Andrii Panin was killed in action on July 8, 2022, while performing a combat mission in Donbas. The defender was 34 years old. Andrii was born in the village of Kostylivka, Zakarpattia Oblast. He finished local school. He served his military service. Then he went abroad to earn money. Lately, he worked in Kyiv. He was a master builder. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the territorial defense, and then became a fighter of the 80th separate assault airborne brigade. Andrii was extremely kind and sincere. A man with a big heart. In his native village, he was loved by everyone, he never refused to help anyone. Every Sunday he visited the temple. When the war began, he was on a business trip in Kyiv. But he came home because he said he was ashamed: "The guys are dying for us, and I'm sitting here like a coward." And he went to the TRO, a close relative of the deceased told. The warrior was buried in his native village. Andrii left behind his father, two brothers, his beloved girlfriend, a son and a daughter from his first marriage.
