Anton A. Haidamaka (Bilyi)

Sailor Anton Gaydamaka (call sign White) died on July 24, 2023 while performing a combat mission near the village of Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region. The defender was forever 36 years old. Anton was born in the village of Vasylivka, Dnipropetrovsk region. He lived in Dnipro. He graduated from Vocational School No. 72, obtained the profession of tractor-machine operator in agricultural production, and a repair mechanic. He worked as a driver at the freight transportation company "Bison". During the full-scale invasion, the man joined the ranks of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 18th separate battalion of the 35th separate brigade of the naval infantry named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Ostrohradskyy. "Anton was kind, sensitive, sincere, always ready to help everyone whenever asked," said the wife of the deceased. The marine was buried at the Krasnopilske cemetery in Dnipro. At home, Anton was awaited by his wife Darya and daughter Victoria.
