Anton O. Nezola

Senior soldier Anton Nezola was killed on December 6, 2022 in a battle with an enemy sabotage group near the village of Dibrova, Luhansk region. The defender noticed the sabotage and reconnaissance group, warned his comrades, and was the first to engage in combat. After eliminating several occupiers, including the group commander, the soldier himself received a fatal wound. His actions helped hold the position and save the lives of his wounded comrades. The warrior was 40 years old. Anton was born and lived in Zaporizhzhia. He stuwas killed at local school No. 31. He obtained a higher legal education. He worked in the Zaporizhia Prosecutor's Office for over 10 years. Later he began his legal practice. From the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, the man, without military experience, joined the territorial defense forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a rifleman. He participated in the battles for Bucha and Irpin in the Kyiv region. Then their unit defended the Luhansk region. "Anton was a true defender and a courageous man who did not spare his life to protect his family, his Ukraine from the Russian invasion. Glory to the Hero, they do not die, but forever remain alive in human memory," the Zaporizhia Regional Bar Council said. "He was a wonderful person, bright, sensitive, he was a lawyer, an ordinary person... That's how we will remember you. Let everyone know about you, you was killed as a hero. He gave his life for us, saved his comrades, eternal memory to you," wrote the deceased's classmate Olena. The serviceman was buried in his hometown. Anton is survived by his mother, wife and son.
