Anton S. Pustovhar

Senior soldier Anton Pustovgar was killed in action on June 25, 2022, as a result of a rocket attack by Russian occupiers on Zhytomyr. The fighter was 21 years old. Anton was born in the city of Mohyliv-Podilskyi in Vinnytsia region. He graduated with honors from the local techno-economic college of Vinnytsia National Agrarian University, received the profession of a chef-confectioner. He loved to cook. He worked in the confectionery house "Vatsak" in his hometown. With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, Anton joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of a chef in the 95th separate airmobile assault brigade. "A cheerful person and a talented culinary specialist," said the brother of the deceased, Kyrylo. "Unbearable pain from the terrible news! The war took a good, well-bred child, a successful student, our graduate... Eternal memory to the hero and condolences to the family," wrote college teacher Iryna Voytsekhivska. "I love communication, friends, hate loneliness, live and enjoy this life," Anton noted on his social media page. The soldier was buried in the village of Soniachne in Vinnytsia region. At home, Anton's parents and brother were waiting for him.
