Biography
Anton Valentinovich Listopad was born on September 17, 1991 on the territory of Russia. His father - military pilot, Major General Valentin Listopad, in August 2022 held the position of Deputy Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Anton studied at the Ivano-Frankivsk Secondary School No. 2, in 2008 he graduated from the Physico-Technical Lyceum of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council. He was a participant in 6-day local history practices and incentive trips for the most successful lyceum students of the courses "Lviv-2006", "Makivka-2007" and "Hoverla-2007". Later he graduated from the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas. In 2010, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Two years later, he applied for admission to the Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv National University of the Air Force, which he graduated in 2018 with the rank of military pilot of the 2nd class, senior lieutenant. He served in the 204th Tactical Aviation Brigade. In 2019, he was recognized as the best pilot of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2021, he headed the aviation group of the air column of the parade of troops in honor of the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's Independence. Participant of the Joint Forces Operation. In the first hours of the large-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he managed to withdraw his own MiG-29 fighter from enemy fire. He was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree, which was presented to him a few days before his death by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He died on August 7, 2022. He was buried on August 15, 2022 on the Alley of Glory in the village of Chukalivka, Ivano-Frankivsk region. He is survived by his parents and wife.Burial place
