Anton Yu. Lapik (Lapa)

Combat medic Anton Lapik (call sign Lapa) was killed on December 30, 2022 while performing his duties near the village of Chervonopopivka in the Luhansk region. He was forever 31 years old. Anton was born in Kyiv. He graduated from the College of Geological Exploration Technologies of Taras Shevchenko National University, receiving a degree in junior accounting specialist. He worked as a leading engineer for logistics at Kyivpastrans. He was interested in bartending. He loved sports and practiced taekwondo. He was also a very talented artist. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, the man volunteered to defend his native capital from the enemy. Anton joined the ranks of the 518th separate special purpose battalion "Wild Field". He underwent training, mastered medical skills and saved his comrades. After the liberation of the Kyiv region, he continued to defend Ukraine in other hot spots. In particular, he took part in the liberation of the Kharkiv region. He was awarded a certificate for his bravery and professionalism. "My eternally young hero! I am infinitely grateful to you for being my brother. Infinitely grateful for your courage, your views and protection. How hard it is to realize the reality. I will never forgive. You are forever in my memory!" - wrote Yulia Abramova. Anton was buried at the Berkovetsky cemetery in Kyiv. He is survived by his parents, relatives, friends and comrades-in-arms.
