Artem A. Naumovych

Naumovych Artem Anatoliyovych was born on September 18, 1987 in the city of Yenakiieve, Donetsk Oblast, where he also received his education. He served in the border troops. He participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) in eastern Ukraine. With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion in 2022, Artem Naumovych and his wife settled in his family's hometown of Skybyn in the Cherkasy region, and immediately began to defend the country. He served as a rifleman-assistant grenadier in the 6th mechanized company of the 2nd mechanized battalion of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians. He was killed on September 16, 2022 during an artillery barrage on the unit's positions near the village of Vodiane, Marinka district, Donetsk Oblast. The fallen hero was honorably buried in the village of Skybyn, Cherkasy region. He is survived by his wife, parents and brother.
