Artem A. Zelenskyi (Zelia)

Defender Artem Zelenskyi (call sign Zelya) was killed on August 24, 2023, during an enemy mortar attack near the village of Ivanivske in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 37 years old. Artem was born in the city of Prymorsk, Zaporizhia region. He had a secondary specialized education. He graduated from the Prymorsk Technical School, where he obtained the profession of an automobile mechanic. He worked at a tire fitting shop. During the full-scale war, on February 27, 2022, he voluntarily took up the defense of the Motherland. He held the position of platoon commander, vehicle commander in the assault company of the State Special Transport Service. For his service, the warrior received a commendation from the President of Ukraine. "Forever in our hearts, forever your two wings!" - wrote the wife of the fallen Tetiana. The defender was buried at the Central Cemetery in Kryvyi Rih. Artem is survived by his wife and daughter.
