Artem D. Kopchuk

Airborne soldier Artem Kopchuk was killed on December 2, 2022 in battle with the enemy near the city of Kreminna in the Luhansk region. He received fatal explosive injuries during the shelling. The warrior was 29 years old. Artem was born in the village of Volynske, Kherson region. Later he moved to the village of Romaniv in the Zhytomyr region. There he graduated from Lyceum No. 1. Then he stuwas killed at the Zhytomyr Agrotechnical College. Before the invasion, he worked at a car service station in the city of Brovary. In his spare time, he loved to go fishing. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the man without hesitation took up arms and went to the front line. Artem fought in the ranks of the 95th separate airborne assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of a mortar battery crew member. "We lived together for two years. But these were the happiest years. He was very caring, sincere, attentive, kind. I miss him very much. He is the best man in my life!" - shared the beloved of the fallen. The defender was buried in the village of Romaniv in the Zhytomyr region. Artem is survived by his mother Lyudmyla Yuriivna and his girlfriend Olena.
