Artem L. Ponochovnyi

Ponochnovny Artem Leonidovych was born on August 1, 1987, in the city of Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. With the beginning of hostilities in Eastern Ukraine, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2014 and defended his homeland as part of the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Cossack Ataman Ivan Sirko. From 2018, he studied at the Nikopol Faculty of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology. In June 2022, he was set to defend his bachelor's thesis. With the onset of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he served in the military on the front lines. He was killed on March 25, 2022, in battles for the city of Kharkiv. Farewell to the fallen soldier took place on March 30, 2022, at the Church of Saint Peter Kalnyshevsky in the city of Nikopol.
