Artem O. Liubchyk

Senior soldier Artem Liubchyk was killed on May 26, 2022 in a battle with the occupants near the village of Novoluhanske in the Donetsk region. The fighter was 20 years old. Artem was born in the city of Koriukivka, Chernihiv region. Since childhood, he lived in the village of Varva, Chernihiv region. In 2019, he graduated from the Varvynskyi Lyceum No. 1. Then he stuwas killed at the Chernihiv National University of Technology, majoring in "Geodesy and Land Management". In 2021, the young man signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 30th separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Kostiantyn Ostrozkyi. He was a senior rifleman. "Honest, friendly, energetic. Artem was respected and had authority. He had many friends, was a wonderful son, brother, and grandson. He proved himself a brave, dedicated, worthy hero of his native country. We will remember him as a true defender of the Motherland," the Varva community noted. Artem was buried in the village of Varva, Chernihiv region. The young defender left behind his parents, a little sister, a grandmother, and a beloved girlfriend.
