Artem O. Sevastieiev

Sailor Artem Sevastyeyev died on August 16, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the city of Krasnohorivka in the Donetsk region as a result of the enemy drone drop. The defender was 31 years old. Artem was born in the city of Yuzhne (now Pivdenne) in the Odesa region. He had secondary specialized education. He was temporarily unemployed. In April 2023, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He underwent military training in the United Kingdom for a month. He held the position of a grenadier in the 35th separate brigade of the marine corps. He was awarded the honorary distinction "For Merit to the City". "My brother was kind and cheerful. He loved communication. He took care of my mother and me," said the warrior's sister Yana. The defender was buried in his hometown. Artem is survived by his mother and sister.
