Artem O. Strikha (Amiho)

Junior Lieutenant Artem Strikha (call sign Amigo) was killed on November 5, 2023, defending the city of Krasnohorivka in the Donetsk region. The defender received fatal injuries as a result of a direct hit by an enemy shell on the dugout in his combat position. A month earlier, on October 4, he turned 34 years old. Artem was born in the city of Boryspil, Kyiv region. He studied at school No. 8. Then he obtained a higher education at the Petro Sahaidachny Kyiv State Academy of Water Transport. He worked as the head of the logistics warehouse at LLC "General Trans Alliance Logistics". He was passionate about football and fishing. He loved to spend time with his family, relax in nature together. He cooked deliciously and could fix anything. In April 2023, the man joined the ranks of the defenders and became a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of platoon commander in the 31st separate mechanized brigade. "The best beloved husband and loving father. 'What will I tell my daughter if I don't stand up to protect my family?' he said. And now I tell our daughter that her father is a Hero, of whom we are infinitely proud. Only God knows how I waited for him and prayed for him. Only our child knows how I cried and missed him. And I'm still waiting for him. I don't believe it... The only best husband and father. Without him, I just exist," shared the officer's wife. The warrior was buried in his hometown.
