- Senior Soldier Artem Yegiazaryan killed in action on March 8, 2022, during the defense of Kyiv region from Russian occupiers. The defender received fatal injuries near the village of Dmytrivka as a result of an enemy air strike. The warrior was 37 years old. Artem was born in the city of Volodymyr-Volynskyi, Volyn region. He graduated from Volodymyr-Volynskyi Secondary School No. 2. Then he acquired the profession of an electrician at a higher professional school. He served in law enforcement agencies. Recently, he worked as a driver. From the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He became a serviceman of the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Roman. He held the position of senior rifleman, commander of a combat vehicle. Together with his unit, he defended the Kyiv region. "We will always remember and love you. Great thanks and respect for defending us and our country," wrote the deceased's wife. "Friends and classmates of the fallen hero remember him as a kind man with a keen sense of justice. Indeed, from childhood, which was quite difficult for him as he grew up without a father, Artem always stood up for the weaker ones, shared his last with loved ones. We express our sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased. May the hero rest in peace, whose feat we will never forget!" noted in the Volodymyr City Council. The fighter was buried at Fedorivske Cemetery in his hometown. At home, Artem was awaited by his parents, wife, and children. Posthumously, Senior Soldier Artem Yegiazaryan was awarded the Order of "For Courage" III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
