Artem V. Fedenko (Fedia)

Soldier Artem Fedenko (call sign Fedya) was killed on January 25, 2023 in the city of Vuhledar, Donetsk region. During the performance of a combat mission, he sustained an explosive injury. The defender was 33 years old. Artem was from the city of Dniprodzerzhynsk (now Kamianske) in the Dnipropetrovsk region. He graduated from the Dniprodzerzhynsk Energy Technical School. He got a job at LLC "Triton", then worked in the "Dobrobut" retail chain. He was a long-distance driver. Recently, he worked at PJSC "Kryvyi Rih-cement". From the first days of the full-scale war, he defended the Ukrainian land from the Russian invaders. He fought as part of the 74th separate reconnaissance battalion. "He was a very honest, kind, courageous, brave man," wrote the widow of the fallen Viktoria. Artem was buried on the Alley of Glory in his hometown. The warrior left behind a wife and daughter. Posthumously, Artem Fedenko was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
